Same here! Mine first started by going off while I was watching it, then on & off several times. Then, the volume went to 100,(all the way up), then color level went all the way up... and everything else went to max. I had to unplug it. I tried it again after several hours & had the same bad results. I looked around for some kind of reset button like on older set, but no luck. Any recalls on this model or is there any quick fix I can try?

RCA F32650 TV changes channels by itself

Problem is common to RCA models. The issue is bad solder joints in the tuner area. Resolder the entire tuner section of the board and the problem will be resolved. No parts are necessary.

most probably, you may have problems with your keypad, the keypads are actuall called "tact switches" and they can become "corrupted" or leakey or just stuck, you cant really measure a DC restistance but they can cause all kinds of strange phenomenon such as you describe....if possible, replace the keypad PCB or, if not replace the individual keypads

Horizontal and Vertical Hold is malfuctioning and there is not manual adjustment

The fault is most likely in the sync amp section, or in the video detector section, or the area where the sync extraction is done. It is very common that some of the electrolytic capacitors in the mentioned areas become worn down with age.

An experienced TV service tech should be able to troubleshoot the sync areas, locate the faults, and replace the defective parts.
