Re: my n70 is just vibrating and not ringing and is
The LCD display connector is either loose or the LCD is faulty, the speaker contacts are loose or the speaker is faulty.. Other than that, you have to have it checked by a qualified technician. Follow the procedures below to disassemble the phone and check the LCD, connectors and speaker.
Wear a pair of electro-static discharge (ESD) protective gloves.
Unlock and remove the battery cover.
Unlock the clips of the front cover beginning at the bottom by prying the latches with your fingernail or a prying tool one at a time.
Carefully remove the front cover.
Protect the display with a plastic film.
Remove the 6 screws using a T6 screwdriver.
Swing the user interface (UI) frame assembly upwards from the bottom. Bear in mind that the flex connector is still connected.
Disconnect the flex connector carefully by prying it.
Clean the connectors using a soft-bristle toothbrush with a lacquer thinner.
Remove the engine board and place it in a cushioned non-conducting tray.
Clean the speaker terminals and contact pads on the engine board using a cotton bud with lacquer thinner or alcohol.
Lift up the speaker terminals to ensure it makes contact with the contact pads on the engine board.
Check the resistance of the speaker using a multimeter. The resistance reading should be 20-30 ohms,
otherwise replace speaker.
Put back the engine board.
Reconnect the flex connector firmly and reassemble the UI frame assembly.
Remove the protective plastic film and reinstall the front cover.
Insert the battery and turn on the phone.
There should be a display and tone when the hands appear on screen. Otherwise, have your phone checked by a qualified technician.

hi, common problem with n70 white screen, i suggest you take it to a service centre, because it could be 1 of 2 problems, either the lcd is faulty, or, on the main board, there are 2 crystals that control the lcd, they need to be changed, but will be cheaper maybe just to buy a new phone,
as for the 1100, if it doesnt turn on and constantly vibrates, i have a feeling that the phone has liquid damage, and is shorting out.
see if i can help you here on the white screen
go to main menu...settings.....personalize......wallpaper
you will see picture next ....is it set to none? you can set a wallpaper here.
on the vibrate.....main menu...settings....ring styles...
is it set on just vibrate?
you can change it here to different settings....vibrate....soft...loud...vibrate and ring so if it just says vibrate u can change it there.
mine is set on vibrate and ring...down below that you will see vibrate then ring details...here u can choose the ringer u want plus ringer volume and different settings.
hope this gets you back what u wanted.
