These are the same manufacture as the original Gateway TVs that are known for exactly this. This TV is probably 6 years old now. Not much you can do. Sorry.

I am trying trying to print a colour document but the black doesnt seem to be coming through. I have changed the cartridges. none of the black text has printed but the purple one has. Can you help?

What kind of printer do you have? Most come with a maintance pull down. If you have that in your software pkg, then try cleaning the heads etc. It will give you a few ideas to keep the printer clean. You may want to align the heads as well.

Have hp d1430 printer, I only use the color print cartridge, the printer will print color but will no print normal black lettering, have tried two different hP22 cartridges. Is the printer done for?

YOU SHOULD USE HP 21 BLACK INK CARTRIDGE FOR BLACK PRINTING.IF YOU USE 22 COLOUR CARTRIDGE YOU WILL GET ONLY GREAY PRINTING ONLY.I AM RIGHT?IF YOU USE COLOUR CARTRIDGES MAY YOU WILL GET MONEY LOSE. BECOS IT WILL FINISH EARLY.BLACK INK COST IS LESSTHAN COLOUR INK CARTRIDGES. SO YOU SHOULD BUY BLACK CARTRIDGE FOR REAL BLACK PRINTING.

Refilled ink cartridges problem colour

this is not a printer problem, you have a problem with colour cartridge! u can fix this in 2 diferent way: 1. replace the colour cartridge with new one, or gently clean the nozzle cartridge with a wet tissue until the cyan colour mark a line on the tissue just like the others colours: yellow and magenta. maybe must repeat this several times.

unplug machine from power. remove all carts. close cover. reconnect machine to power. wait until machine demands carts. reinsert cart as demanded by machine and secure them by pressing them into position and fixing the clip above the cart cover. give correct answer as display asks. Set date and time again.

btw: always print until printer stopps printing! Never change cart befor that
because printer logic will be fooled ;-)
