I have the Insignia NS-L26Q-10A26"LCD TV. I've had it for months. Suddenly today the TV would not go on. It just says "no signal".
I tried going to "input" where you set it to TV, VGA etc, to make sure it was set to "TV" and it is.
I tried using the same cable on another TV and the signal is fine.
I then tried using the insignia TV as a monitor to see if there was any problems with the picture. And it works fine as a monitor.
SO as it stands it's not a problem with the cable,
it is set on "TV"
and also the picture is fine when it is used as my monitor.
Also nothing happened to the TV since last night when I was watching it, and this afternoon when I turned it on.
It's on the wall so it wasn't inadvertently hit into or anything.
This just doesn't make sense. Does anyone have any ideas of what might be happening or what I could do ?!
I just bought this thing a few months ago! It's not like it's had a long life. It's actually probably not covered by warranty anymore since most of them are only up to 3motnhs or so... Don't tell me this is one of those pieces of **** that's made to brake down after the warranty is no longer any good.:(

Your Television need to be reset. Take the back off carefully, locate your picture lamp, somewhere in that area should be your reset button. Your television needs to be powered on, so be very carefull not to touch anything other than the reset button, hold the button in until your TV goes blank, then release and put your cover back on. That's it, your TV should be back to normal. You might have to run your setup again.

This may have to do with the settings on your DVD player or cable/satellite box. Change the settings on those devices to output the desired resolution (720p) and adjust your TV settings appropriately. More details about the TV settings can be found in the owner's manual.
