We are having exactly the same issue x 2. Btoh ours units are only 2 months old. have you contacted Delonghi?

Our PAC C100 is less than two months old. Every time we use it now a lot of water leaks out the bottom. Have tried pulling the plug and letting it drain but only a small amount of water comes out. The system makes a funny noise like you can hear the water going around, not quiet like when we first got it. Water is beginning to damage our carpet and so we cannot even use the system for more than 10 mins. What else can we do or is this a problem that has to be seen to by a technician? Can't believe after spending so much money on it that it is already faulty after only a month!!

I had exactly the same issue after using it for a couple of months.
I fixed it by removing the left panel (the one with the grid) (6 screws and pull the panel down).
There is a small white tray in the mid section toward the back of the unit. the top drainage hole is right there and in my case was completly blocked with wet lint.

!!! the fins of the radiator are extremely sharp...

I took the unit apart as per solution 3, however I had no blockages at all.

I then proceeded to take all the covers off and see what was going on. The tray as per solution 3 runs from left to right when looking at the back of the unit (which is how I will refer to sides from now on).

When the unit was turned onto cool and the blue fan part had kicked in, I noticed that water starts to condense off the brown coils, not so much from the side with the hole, but from the left side. I can only figure that the water is then meant to run along to the right side where the hole actually is and drain.

This was not happening for me, nothing blocking the drainage hole, and when the unit was made as level as possible (as my floor is a little slanted), and even having the unit tilted as little to the right, drainage was occurring properly.

End result: Keep level as much as possible, or even tilt the unit a little to the right (looking from the back) otherwise the start catchment will begin to overflow and leak out the bottom where the power cord comes out the bottom. If it still happens after this, open her up and look at the drainage hole as per #3

If it leaks water on the cool mode then the condensate pan or drain system is not working properly. Its plugged up or something. It is normal for the evaporator to make water (condensation) only usually the drainage system takes it out so you don't notice. But it is safe to keep using, just you will have to deal with the water problem.

Full intake tank:
The continuous drain hose is not connected correctly or is
obstructed & the air conditioner is
draining into the *intake tank then leaking out.
This tank is located at the lower backside of the
unit,*item # 8 *see page 2 of your parts & accessoires
guide page.
Empty the tank and replace it correctly. You will need to empty the tank periodically unless you locate & correct the connection or obstruction problem.
Hope this help ya.

"The continuous drain hose is not connected correctly......" Nowhere does it say that there should be a "continuous" drain hose. In fact the reverse could be said to be true since most of de Longhi instructions infer that the drain is necessary only when storing the unit. As I stated elsewhere HTF can one fit a "permanent" hose? Does one drill a hole in the floor/wall and push it through?

PAC C100el

I did in fact locate the shallow drip pan next to the copper coils, however there is

a large square container that sits in front of to the copper coils that appears to

be collecting a lot of water.

When I rock the unit, I can hear water sloshing around inside of the sealed

box. Covered in what appers to be styrofoam?

Is this normal?

Also I cannot locate any drain lines or plugs from the contraption?

Why is it there and what function does it serve?

How do i change a water pump on my 1994 honda civic ex coupe 1.6l engine?

Stop leaks rarely works and are often a waste of money. Before going after the water pump, make sure it is that, that is leaking. Many of the smaller engines have the water pump in line with the timing belt, meaning both will need to be changed.

Why when washing machine ends cycle it keeps leaking water

If water is leaking only during the times when it is supposed to be coming in , then the first places to check are at the hose connections and the hoses themselves. If it continues to leak after the water stops coming in , then you have to look at the drain connection and finally at the drum seal.

My portoable ac is leaking on the floor . am i suppose to have a hose connected to the drain on the bottom in the back of the unit. please explain how i am suppose to drain my machine

a hose is only used for continued drainage in to a floor drain or sump. With out he hose, it's supposed to have a screw in plug to keep the water from flowing onto the floor. Then you would drain it into a low sided container that can hold at least 1 quart of water. Normally, the unit should warn you when it needs draining.

Hope this helped you.

Water leaks from the bottom of the odea go when brewing. We have soaked the brew group, tried to lube every spot we could think of, and still no luck. Machine is 1 and 1/2 years old. thanks.

If it's from the left side of the machine, probably the tap valve seals are leaking. If alot of water leak out without any coffee from the spout, then the hoses rupture or boiler leakage inside the machine.

I ran into this problem a year ago.
The water valve is leaking thru so you are getting a very small continuous amont of water feeding to the ice maker. This will build up and ice will form ontop of ice. The water valve is suppose to send 1/2 cup of water or so everytime the ice maker calls for make. Sometimes the watervalve will not close 100% like it should. This is an older model so it should have a connection on the back side right behind the ice maker where the water tube feeds. Pull this off or untighten the nut if there is one. The should be water coming out (not heavy but very little) and it continuous. Thats how to check this problem before you start buying parts. Let me know if this was helpful. if you need more assistance let me know

Water is leaking on the top shelves in my kenmore refriderator water is leaking on the top shelves in my kenmore I have water leaking onto the top shelf of our Kenmore refrigerator. I believe it goes into...

During the defrost cycle heaters inside the walls of the freezer turn on to melt the frost. The melted frost "water" is supposed to drain into a pan under the fridge where it will evaporate. I think the drain line from the freezer to this pan may be blocked. I'd also check the seal on the freezer door. If it's not sealing well it lets a lot of moisture into the freezer which means more water during the defrost cycle. I'd also recommend checking to make sure the ice maker is not leaking.
