When i connect vivitar vivicam 3815 with usb to computer it does nothing!

You can purchase a cable from any computer store such as Staples. Bring the camera there and they should be able to get you the cable.

Try NOT using the USB cord.

The 3815 is designed primarily as a still camera. As such it captures images, not sounds. You can add a soundtrack using video-editing software on a computer, but you cannot record one on this camera.

It's because the batteries aren't strong enough. You are probably using alkaline batteries, which are not recommended for digital cameras because they drain easily and quickly. Use nimH batteries.

If you have an SD card inserted and formatted in the camera and you have an SD card reader/writer on your computer, then you you really don't need a cord.
