How to add videos on my philip mp3 - Philips GOGEAR SA6045 MP3 Player

I inseted my usb cord into my computer an into my computer an went to google videos, downloaded the videos an took videos to media convetor to convert size an it wouldnt convert, nor would the videos show up after dragging them to my folders under my computer

You must use the Media Convertor software that came with the GoGear installation CD to convert all video files into a format that the GoGear recognizes. If you lost the CD or manual, go to the Philips website - they have both available for download. Under software and drivers, select "Media converter Software"; under documentation, click "User's Manuals"

How do you download music

You can download music for the GoGear from any reputable website, iTunes. it is just a case of plugging in the USB cable, go to My Computer and Look for the Philips Removable Drive.

open it up, go to the Music Folder and add your MP3 songs.

To add videos to this player you need to use the software Philips provided. It's a bit complicated to use so follow the instructions carefully. The software will convert the videos to a Philips format to enable you to add them to the Video Folder. You can't just add a file as this will not work, it needs to be converted.

How do i download videos to my MP3 player model number sa1vbe04aw/17

GoGear uses a certain format of video, so you must first convert your videos to that format in order for them to be reproduced in your player. First make sure you install Media Converter for Philips which is on the cd, if you don't have the cd you can download the software here http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/cpindex.pl?ctn=SA1VBE04AW/17&scy=us&slg=en Once installed, connect your player to your computer with the usb cable, then open Media Converter for Philips, add your videos to the software then click convert and it will convert your files and add them to your media player.

How do you add .gif pics to Philips MP3 GOGEAR sa6045?

GIF files are not supported by this player - you must convert them to JPEG's. Videos have to be run through the Philips (Arcsoft) Media Converter - the software is available from Philips website for free. The link to the user manual is here:

You have to use the Philips (Arcosft) Media Converter to transfer videos. If you have lost your installation CD, you can get it from Philips website. Here is a link to the user manual:

How do you add videos to a gogear?

You may have to download Riva Flv Encoder and convert the YouTube videos to AVI format first. Then you have to use the Philips (Arcsoft) Media Converter to convert and transfer video files to the Philips GoGear. Because the software likes to play a preview of the movie, you may have to download additional codecs to make it work. Copyright-protected or DRM-encrypted video files are not compatible with the GoGear.

How do you add videos to a gogear

To add a video from YouTube that is in, say FLV format, you will have to get the updated version of the Philips Media Converter from Philips website. If the updated version sill does not recognize your video, you will have to get a free program like Riva FLV Encoder to convert the video to AVI format. Once it is in AVI format, the Philips Media Converter wil lrecognize the file.

Help me please

If your mp3 player is an SA178, then you can't. If it is a Philips Go Gear that does support video, then you have to run the video through the Philips Media Converter that came with the installation CD first, which is also available from Philips website. Start --> All Programs --> Philips Media Converter inside the Media Converter --> Add Files - find file (if the file does not appaear, run the video file through the Rive Flv Encoder, changing the "Output" extension to .avi) --> Convert to Device (with the Go Gear plugged in)
