Radio wave remote controll

remotes work in two ways
1---is by infra red beam and
2-- is by high frequency radio waves
check what remote operation you have first and if it is compatible with the tv receiver
then check to see if the remote is actually working

Please make sure the receiver is plugged directly into the wall, bypass any power strips. Make sure the remote has fresh batteries inside, press and release the SAT button and then press the select button. When we send out our DISH receivers we will include our own DISH universal remotes that can control many different components like; HDTV, surround sound receivers and sound bars. We do not have the codes for other universal remotes to work with our system. Sorry to hear about your original remote; we would be happy to help you with addressing your DISH remote to your Bose Wave Radio. Here is a list of some of the codes that we havefor Bose Wave Radio: 761, 664, 656, and 639.

Press and hold the AUX mode button until all mode buttons at the top of theremote come on, then release. Enter the number 2 then one of the codes for your Bose Wave Radio provided above. Press the pound (#) button, the mode light should flashthree times. Check that the code works by trying several different functions onthe remote to make sure it will properly operate your Bose Wave Radio. Keep in mindthat some codes may not be compatible with your equipment. If this is the case,please try the other codes listed for that device until you find one that iscompatible with your equipment.

Hi, the manual for the vip622 (the model I have... not sure what you have) says to use the following codes for Sony Tuners / Amplifiers.

639 645 650 687 728 729 730
(located in the Appendix)
