Have you installed the driver for the mouse? Did you install it before actually attaching the mouse's USB receiver? The driver should be installed first. You can download it here:

http://www.dynexproducts.com/productSearch.html?query=wireless+optical+mouse&mainSearchButton=

Scroll down to "Dynex Wireless Optical Mouse" and click on "English" next to "Driver:" in order to download it.

If you've already installed the driver and your computer still won't recognize the mouse, press the Connect button on the receiver, wait for the light to flash, and then press the Connect button on the mouse. The light should stop flashing and the mouse should be ready to use.

SOURCE: how to connect a dynex wireless optical mouse w/my windows xp?

Hi, connecting the Dynex Wireless Optical Mouse is easy. First, you need to install the driver for the mouse. It should have come packaged with the mouse, on the CD-ROM. If you don't have the CD-ROM you can download the driver from the website and install it:

http://www.dynexproducts.com/productSearch.html?query=wireless+optical+mouse&mainSearchButton=

Scroll down to "Dynex Wireless Optical Mouse" and click "English" next to "Driver:" to download it, then unzip it and install it.

Once you've installed the driver, all you have to do is put the two AA batteries in the mouse, flip the switch on the bottom to On, and insert the USB receiver into your computer. Your mouse should be usable right away!

SOURCE: im trying to conect my dynex wireless optical

The first thing to do, before you plug the receiver in, is to install the driver. (It should have come on a CD-ROM with the mouse.) Once you've installed the driver, turn the mouse on and plug the receiver in, and you should be good to go!

Mouse not working but lights on

Bring mouse and receiver closer together. If that doesn't help, try to pair the mouse to the receiver again.

My Dynex wireless mouse doesn't work? am I supposed to install any drivers? Im using Hp laptop dv4-1435dx with vista home premium

There is a Dynex software suite that comes on a disk with the mouse -- this suite provides the mouse's driver as well as additional functionality such as changing button properties. You can download the driver from DynexProducts.com (be sure to get the right one for your specific mouse and operating system).

I just bought a Dynex Wireless optical mouse. My laptop said that it was ready to use but it still is not working. It's on and the batteries are new. I also tried other new batteries. It's still not...

Try pressing Connect on the receiver, then when the light is flashing, press Connect on the mouse. The light should stop flashing and the mouse should be usable. If it's not, check that you have the Dynex mouse driver installed.

Dynex wireless mouse receiver USB is not working, can I get a new one? only receiver USB.

It may be hard to find a new receiver for the mouse, but if you look on eBay you can find many Dynex mice being sold, with their receivers. Most of them are only around $10 or so. Just search for "dynex wireless optical mouse."
