Most any lens will shoot outdoors good but if you are inside, you may want to use the 50-200mm for the best possible pics

All 4/3 cameras have a sensor that is 2X smaller compared to 35 SLR(24X36).

Buy any lenses and time two when reading the lens. ie: 35mm X 2 = 70mm; 150mm X 2 = 300mm

Any lenses that are over 35mm marked on the lenses.

Olympus om-2 cvamera lenses

You are able to use your old OM lenses with a new Olympus digital SLR camera. You will need to purchase an MF-OM 1 lens adapter to be able to connect these lenses to the digital SLR camera. Also when using these lenses you will only be able to use the camera in manual focus mode as these lenses are not capable to shhot with an auto focus mode.

I am trying to find a cheaper wide angle lens

Hello till1118, I would suggest picking up a copy of Shutterbug magazine. This lists new and used lenses for many styles of cameras and you might be able to find a mail-order bargain. A website I use many times for photo purchases is www.KEH.com or www.eBay.com. You'll find other lenses out there from secondary manufacturers for half the price. Good luck.

Lense Damage in side

It depends on the nature of the damage. What are the symptoms? For example, does it fail to zoom in and out, does it fail to focus properly, do you see something out of the ordinary when you look through the viewfinder? Have you taken some test pictures? If so, what did the photos look like. If you can give me the specifics, I can probably advise you correctly.

E-330 choice of lenses

Hi Fredher,

Your wife has many lens choices for her camera.
Her camera is called the Four Third Camera.
You can use lenses made by Leica, Olympus, Panasonic and Sigma.
Also, can use older OM lenses for the Four Third, but you will need an adapter for it. Adapter can be purchased from Olympus.

Leica, Olympus and Panasonic make Four Third Cameras and lenses.

Sigma makes lenses for Four Third, too. .
You just have to tell them that you have a Four Third camera.

Try to sell that 40-150 lenses. Then buy the 50-200/2.8-3.5 SWD. If you got the money, buy the 90-250/2.8 from Olympus.
This will give you the reach for sports without getting run over.

50-200 is equal to 100-400mm
90-250 is equal to 180-500mm.

Just to get a 500mm/F2.8 on a 35mm camera will hit you over $12,000.00 USD.

If cost is a factor, then buy the Sigma APO 70-200/2.8 II EX DG Marco HSM.

70-200 = 140 to 400mm

To get a 400/2.8 will cost you $9,000.00 on a 35mm camera.

All lenses above all made for the working pros.

Hope they are helpful.
