What drive? I see nothing that says SanDisk.

It gives me Removeable Drive E, which I can do nothing with. It says it's not formatted.

    Did you install the driver?

The drivers may not have installed properly.

    1) Unplug the ImageMate

    2) Make sure the following items have been removed from the registry.

Please make a backup of the registry first by going to "Start" > "Run" and typing Regedit and click "OK".

On the registry menu choose "Export", name the file SNDK.reg and save it to your desktop

NOTE: Before deleting some entries you will have to change the Permissions. You do this by highlighting the entry you want and going to the EDIT Menu and select Permissions and give everyone full control.

    3) Once you have made a backup of the registry remove the following entries. Make sure you only delete the SanDisk information.
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Enum\USB\VID_0781&PID_9999 and/or VID_0000

    4) Close the Registry

    5) Restart

    6) When the PC has rebooted, plug the reader in.

You will see a "Installing new hardware" window.

Once these have finished your reader is ready to use.

Note: Once you are done and all is working, you may delete SNDK.reg

While SDHC cards will fit into SD slots, they will not work in SD devices.

SanDisk ImageMate 12in1 cannot read SCHC 4GB or higher cards

Correct!!!! This card reader cannot address cards that are higher then 3gig and cannot read sdhc cards. Most older readers will not be able to read the HC type card, and by older I mean if its 6 months old or more. To read these cards you need to purchase a new card reader. I know, My camera uses 4gig cards and I was unable to access the pics until I bought a new reader..

Camera reads, computer doesn't

That is odd. Try the recovery software that comes with the sandisk cards and see if you are able to get them after that.
Do you format your cards each time in the camera before shooting?

Did not reinstall the needed drivers. Download drivers from manufacturer support and install them.

Maybe just maybe you can use device manager to install the drivers by searching the web for them. Only take a minute to make the attempt.
