Need a pin out for SAVV LBM-S5000 - Savv LBM-S5000 Car Monitor

Question edited for clarity as it looked like an IBM Logik Computer 1028 bits question. CAPS matter.

Hi there. In my personal experience, I would advise to buy a remote control straight from the dealer. All you would need to do is contact them with the model of your radio and state that you need a remote for it. If you buy a remote from ebay or amazon you may get a defective one. only way is to look online for adapter, if available.

i have not replaced the battery door but have disassembled an S5000 following the service manual

it looks like once you complete the first step 'Removing the R CABINET ASSY' you can withdraw the hinge pin and replace the battery cover without any more disassembly [see attached image]

Try checking the base-station and the frequency they're tuned to.

If they both all of a sudden didn't work it must be an issue with the player or the base-station.

I interfaced the SAVV LM-S6001 today. Here's what I found;

Looking straight on at the male 8 pin DIN connector here's how I'll describe it. There are 3 pins across the top row. From left to right I'll call them 8, 7, 6. There are 2 pins on the left side of the middle row, 5 leftmost and 4 adjacent to the center. Moving right, there is a gap and then pin 3 on the rightmost side of the middle row. There are two pins on the bottom row, pin 2 on left and pin 1 on right. Draw that on some paper.

Pin 1 is +12VDC
Pin 2 is center contact of both audio and video RCA jacks
Pin 3 is -12VDC
Pin 4 is outer RCA contact for Video
Pin 5 -n/c
Pin 6 -n/c
Pin 7 -n/c
Pin 8 is outer RCA contact for Audio

Now, I don't know what pin 7 does, but it is wired next to pin 4 suggesting a video application, Svideo is my best guess. I can only test for a composite video connection that I am using.
