LED toggling on and off followed by no picture indicates that your Television's projection Lamp needs a replacement.Lamp lasts for 2 to 2 and 1/2 years (depending on usage)

I bought mine from Sony Style and they did a prompt delivery at reasonable cost. There could be some duplicates but I did not want to take any risk with overall quality and performance.

Sony LCD Model KF-60WE610 lamp was replaced and then it shortly after stopped turning on. Blinks Green 6 times then Red 6 times Please help!

For Sony Model KF-60WE610, KF-50WE610, and KF-42WE610, the Diagnostic Code of power light indicator flashing 6 times green, then flashing 6 times red (6 red etc), means you need to replace part number A-1302-272A G1 BOARD, COMPLETE. See Sony Service Manual, 4. Chasis-1 at part Ref no. 103. The Power Board sits vertically in two slots on the left side of the electronics board. 4 wire connectors to remove when replacing. This component fits all 3 KF models listed above.

Sony LCD KF-50WE610 no picture-red light blinking

3 times standby red light blinking shows that lamp cover has not been placed back properly after lamp replacement.
Make sure lamp cover, (the first thing that you removed to replace lamp in tv) is fixed securely then turn tv On.

SONY GRAND WEGA KF-50WE610 can't turn on TV screen.

Ths 5 blinks usually indicate an AKB problem. There is a break in the video path. I'll look up your specific model and post the results here. Please update this if you wish to attempt the repair yourself.

Thanks,
Dan

50 inch Sony vega tv only 3 years old and picture just went pinkish when I turned it on.

There is a defect in Sony TV's Models: KDF-60XBR950, KDF-70XBR950, KF-42WE610, KF-50WE610 and KF-60WE610. That will be covered by Sony before june 30 2008. Check Sony's web site. Here is the link http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/news-item.pl?mdl=KF60WE610&news_id=237.

Green spot on picture

Greenish yellow spot only means one thing. You have a defective lite engine. The only fix is to replace the engine. This part is very
expensive. Average cost $835.00 Part number A-1606-008-A
