My epson tm-u220pbmodel m188b, for the past month since we changed the transformer,has been printing only on red (no black) and you can resd only the half top of the line printing. Can I do anything about or I do neede to replace? Regards Saverio Costanzo

did you try the basics cleaning heads , running test setup for the dot matrix printout out , changing ink sometimes ne packages sold are garbage.

this can be caused by ribbon base being bent or the printhead is too close to the platen and is not feeding properly. you would have to take printer apart to fix either problem. I would suggest sending it in for repair at a service center
