Special TV's made for that purpose are manufactured that way. There is no converting them. Give it back.

How to get Phillips TV 103 model 37HFL5682L/F7 off the hotel mode with a universal remote

Hi,

Please call the front desk at the hotel where you're staying to do this. Or you can use the manual for the remote. If you don't have it, please run a search on the universal remote's website . Thank you.

How do i get my panasonic th37pr9u out of hotel mode....i have tried a few things i found online but no remedy has worked.

Getting out of the hotel mode is very easy. Just go get the Panasonic remote and open your tv. Go near the tv and hold down the V/- button on the television itself. Then use the remote and press the AV button for 3 times. A hidden menu on the television screen will appear. Turn off the "Hotel Mode" from the menu and exit. Do not touch anything from the hidden menu except the hotel mode. Now you can use your tv in normal mode. The remote is required to access the hidden menu so be sure your remote is working and has working or full charged battery before doing the steps above

I can't access my main menu for my Phillips TV

The TV might have set to Hotel mode. To get it out from this mode, you have to enter its service alignment mode [SAM]. Check this link to get more details about it. It is too much to type in here, al the procedure. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Pull up previous posts there, either by its left side bar, or view it in Timeslide option.

Toshiba hotel mode

"Hotel mode" is usually an option for commercial TVs. In order to get rid of that, you might need "service remote control". Similar used in commercial "Philips" LCD panel sets. I do have the one. But it won't work with Toshiba. check help line and ask to obtain the one. It might cost a bit more, than consumer one, but? that might be your only option. consumer sets have "store" mode, but it defeats easy from regular setup menu. Do you have original remote for TV? Inspect it, if you do. It might be the service one, anyway. Those have "guest", "administrator", "service" modes.
Good luck,
Alex.

Phillips 21ht1882/75r its stuck in hotel mode please help

Did you purchase this from a hotel? If this set come from a commercial business, you probably do not have an original remote. These sets are marketed as just a TV with few functions.

Can't find menu on hotel tv

YOU WILL NEED THE SPECIAL REMOTE TO DO THIS. AND I THINK SOME OF THEM HAVE ABILITY IN SERVICE MENU TO TURN OFF HOTEL MODE. OR YOU CAN TRY USING ANY PHILLIPS/MAGNAVOX REMOTE WITH THE STATUS BUTTON AND TRY THIS.
PRESS MENU-9-6-5-2-STATUS AND YOU SHOULD BE IN THE SERVICE MODE TURN OFF THE HOTEL MODE

Trying to get channels above 42 to 99

I had the same problem the solution is you have to get institutional remote and reset the tv from commercial mode to consumer mode and then you will have access to the full menu. go to www.phillipsitv.com to get the directions. I actually asked a Hotel could I borrow their master remote used it and took it back and my tv works fine. Hope this helps.
