My White Knight 44AW, 6kg, tumble dryer makes a noise as though working but isn't turning at all. Is there anything I can do or is it in need of a new motor, hence will be as cheap to buy a new one

Have had the same problem with the timer sticking on the model and the same time interval, now don't trust it's safe to use at any setting over 60minutes
hello check inside the door to see if the long pin hasn't snaped off this connects to the interlock that activates the motor if this is ok check the capacitor next to the motor this gives the motor a boost at switch on hope it helps
