Problem is with proximity sensor calibration, you have to recalibrate it
1. go to service menu - 1809*#900#
2. in that menu clink on OTHERS
3. there click on PROXIMITY
4. click CALIBRATE and OK
and it should be work properly

Headset symbol stays on screen on LG Arena KM900 causing me to have no sound, happened after plugging in to an external speaker dock now phone thinks there is a headset permanently in so no sound and no...

Hi!

The problem you described is generated by dust or dirt inside the headphone connector on your LG Arena.
The simple solution is to clean it by using a flow of air (from a compressor, compressed air spray or even vacuum cleaner ). Do NOT use your own exhaled air for this, because you will get a lot of moisture into the phone, that can damage it.

Good luck!

Lg km900 blank screen during an incoming call -

There is a little rectangle shape thing next to the lg logo on the top of the fone screen. If this is blocked by screen protector it will cause the phone to blank of during calls. Its a power saver that blanks the phone when its near your face. Try it. Take off the screen protector & make a call. Then place your finger over the little thing & the screen goes blank. Just cut a lil space in the screen protector & that will fix the problem

LG KM900 Screen goes black when it rings and can not answer calls. No buttons wil respond and it just locks up whilst the incoming ringing happens. Answer mode is also missing from the "Common Settings".

If you have a screen protector on, the proximity sensor is covered by the screen protector. The sensor is locate on top left of the screen next to the inner camera. Cut of the piece of screen protector and it should solve the problem.
