DSL's tend to have PPPoE signalling which means extra setup. Did you put your username and password in as assigned by the DSL provider?

I unknowingly uninstalled the setup of d-link adsl2+ router and lost its cd...what to do???is there any way i can downloadd the settings???

In case you dont have the setup disk, you can access the router through web browser by typing the default IP address of your router in the address bar, which is 192.168.0.1. It is also written at the back of the router and unless you have changed it and you can access the router and reconfigure it from the web interface of the router. For the User Name and Password enter admin, which is default. For setting/ re-configuration, you can download the product manual from D-Link Official support for your router model.

Let me know if any further clarification/ assistance is required.
GoodLuck!

I lost my setup disk, and I can't use it without it.

If you lost the setup disk of your router, you can set it up manually.
First is you need to find out what type of connection is your ISP, cable, dsl, or fiber optic etc. If it is cable or fiber optic, it's a plug and play. If it's dsl, you need to get your username and password from your ISP.

I bought a zoom router without a disk but i dont know if you need a disk to install

It helps. But I would go to Zoom's website and download the manual and software for the model of the router.

The manual is the first thing I'd grab. Typically there is an internal webpage that will assist in configuring the router. Just plug an ethernet cable into the router and make sure your computer is on the same network indicated to use in setup by in the router manual.

Example: the router has an IP address of 192.168.1.1. Manually set your network connection to use 192.168.1.5 (or any number but 1 for the last one). Then open a web browser and type in the 192.168.1.1 address and enter. The router's configuration page should now be present. Check over your manual for configuration settings you may need.

Good luck.

I have lost my setup disk to my Linsky WRT160N wirless router. Is there a site to get a new disk or one to download the divers for it?

Are you trying to set up the router.
You can do it manually without the CD.
Make sure that your computer is able to go online
through the modem.
If your computer is able to go online through the
modem
Then you need to connect the computer to the
router and the modem to the router.
open the set up page of the router and change the
settings of the router according to the ISP.

I lost my Belkin disk and can't setup my router

You can easily download your software from belkin by going to the support and downloads page. match the model number located on your unit with the list they provide and download the software. If you have a slow connection and would rather set it up, they have instructions for the different types of setups you can do MANUALLY.!

Lost disk for Router F5D5231-4

If you need this for the router setup, here is a link
http://www.belkin.com/support/download.asp?download=F5D5231-4

As far as I can see, the top link 'Need help setting up your router?' points to a downloadable setup guide with incorporated setup software. There's also a user manual on this page.
Hope this helps you.

Lost setup disk

Here's the manuals for your router, you can find instructions in the Quick Guides in there:

http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us&model=WL-520g

Here's a direct link to the quick guide manual, there's a lot of non-english versions on that site and it's a bit confusing to find the right file:
