Question about Sharp Aquos LC-42D62U 42 in. LCD HDTV
My problem is that when I turn on my tv, I can see multiple blue horizontal and vertical lines across my lcd screen. This happens regardless of the input used and still happens when no input is connected. At first the tv was fine. Then, from time to time I would get these blue lines but I could solve the problem with a tv shut down. Now, only the blue lines. I can still watch tv as the picture and color aren't affected, I just get blue lines on top of them...

We have many problems with loose or poorly seated cables and connectors on these units. Pull the back and reseat all the internal cables, especially the LVDS cable to the LCD control bd. If this does not correct the problem the main cause is a bad LCD control bd. or possible a defective main bd.
