How do i put my maclaren triumph in a upright sitting position

You need to add two snaps (just the female ends), but yes, I solved this easily. At the back of the seat where the recline webbing straps are, there are two ends that have male end snaps on them that have female end snaps that are on the back square tubing of the frame. Simply undo those from the frame and add an extra male snap end about 3 1/4 to 3 1/2 inches (on center) down that strap so it can snap into itself. Then it is simple to wrap these around the upper round tubing, just over the bracket for the hood, and snap it back to itself on each side. Presto! It now sits more upright and all that was needed to do was to add that female snap end onto each of those loose straps. You can now even adjust the recline easier (with the snaps still on) or for a full recline, simply unsnap those straps and unbuckle the back and they are now nearly flat.

Removing a link to shorten...stretched

It is never a good idea to shorten a chain, if it has stretced that bad you need to replace it, or it will snap, the chain does not have a joiner, you would need to break the chain, and re rivet a new pre set tie strap.

How do i loosen the second strap!?

You have to pull the metal tab back all the way. It will click and lay flat, but you have to keep it pressed down for it has a tendency to snap shut). There are two ratchet stop check levers (black plastic pieces on the side of the strap). The way they look it would seem that you would have to squeeze them together, toward the strap, but you have to push them down towards the boot. Remember to keep the metal tab depressed so it doesn't snap shut on you. Once you push both levers down and clear the bevels on the strap, you can pull the strap back out. Open and close the strap a few times to get the "new" out of it. With more use, you will be able to squeeze the levers together (like you couldn't do the first time) and depress the levers in one motion making the taking off of your skate a lot easier. Hope this helped.

The umbrella sun shade won't stay up

On the front side of the back pack you will notice two sets of snaps, an upper and a lower. Connect the sun shade to the lower set of snaps. Also on th front side of the backpack there is a snap connected to a nylon strap. Secure that strap arround the support rod of the sunshade and to the upper snap on the backpack. connect the two snaps on the back of the sunshade and your done.

I hope that helps.
