I received a used Brother intellifax 2800 as a gift but I don't have instructions on how to use it. Is there an instruction manual available?

HELLO! YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THE MANUAL FROM BROTHER.COM. THERE ALSO IS HELP MENU BUILT INTO THE MACHINE THAT WILL PRINT OUT. IT SHOULD BE IN REPORTS AND FOLLOW THE PROMPTS.

Go to www.brother.com. They might have your manual available for download.

You might be able to lower the volume in the menu.

Are you using genuine Brother supplies? Generic supplies are the main reason for print quality issues. Have you ever changed thr drum unit ? Expensive! You can buy a new machine and get a new drum and toner for a little bit more.
