Ok, your washer might not be perfectly straight, this is a common problem and it stops the "centrifuge cycle" from correctly working which makes it spin fast.

Use a level and "shim" it until it's perfectly straight, if its straight try running it again, otherwise check for clogs in the drainpipe.

That's all i got, hope it helped

Good luck.

Hi it sounds like you could have one of two problems this first is the problem i had and that was after i had the machine for a while i got the problem you had and i found out that the problem was the the clothes was throwing the drum out and it would not spin or carry on through correct cycle the other problem could be that the wash cycle timer could be on its way out this is common problem and they can be chaged but not something you would like to do yourself as their are loads of wires that will need transfering from one to the other.
But first try using it with light load like couple of teatowels or something like pillow case and see if this will then go through all cycle let us know after you do this ok

Hey can you just lay the hose flat on the ground or a bit lower than the machine and let me know it that helps.. if it doest your pump(the one that pumps out the water is damaged)..

By laying the hose on the ground, the water will run it, if your pump is malfucntioning and it doesnt pump out the water oe enough of ity, that will account for your problem.. Just when its about to run the spin dry or rinse cycle it is supposed to pump out the water,, Simply lay the hose on the ground and see if that works..

  • Anonymous Jan 19, 2008

    hey any luck yet ?

  • Anonymous Jan 19, 2008

ok lay the hose flat on the ground and that will help you until you can get a technician to replace the motor..

My Whirlpool super capacity 2 speed 7 cycle washing machine filter is dirty because it makes marks on clothing. Any suggestions on how to fix this please. Thanks Regards George

Hi, sometimes even after cleaning the filter dirt remains in the machine. The best thing that can help solve this problem is to buy a descaling powder for washing machine (available at supermarkets or hardware store) and follow the instructions on the box or packet, this will take awhile as you will have to stop the cycle by turning the power off when the machine is full of water (with no clothing in it) and then restart the cycle, (about 2 hours). Descaling is necessary as the soap powder attaches itself on the rear of the rotating drum and cannot be seen and some dirt(streaks) will appear on the washed clothing. Hope this helps. All the best.

I have a Semi Automatic Whirlpool Sparkle washing machine my question is can i put water in the dryer just to remove soap from the clothes

Whether your dryer is electric or gas, DON'T PUT WATER IN THE DRYER!!! If you need to get more soap out of the laundry, run it through another cycle without soap.

My kenmore he2 wont dispence the soap in the soap dispencer

Evening to you
Allow the washer to start a cycle and have the dispenser drawer ajar and observe through which dispenser the water goes.
Does the first stream go through the pre-wash dispencer, secondly notice where the main stream goes and lastly where the softener would go. If this can help you in any way just put use the dispencers as fits the washing.

The dispenser door is stuck in the closed position. No matter how much I try to jiggle it open the door will not slide out. How do I get the door to open without breaking something?

Hi stuwstark, you could try running a quick wash cyle without any clothes in the tub once cycle is activated you will hear water flowing through the dispencer holder from there you can try riggling the dispencer to see if it will loosen up, in some cases the dispencer holder can become stuck due to dry soap powder clogging up the sliding rails also the dispencer holder can become stuck due to the liquid detergent box "insert" becoming loose and jamming it self up against the top casing of the dispencer holder so by applying the cycle when the water flushes thru the holder could ease the hard powder or could float the insert making it easier to open, try it and see how you go, thumbs up if it helps thanks.

I have a Whirlpool Ultimate Care II, top loading washer. Upon intial start up the machine agitates. During the spin cycle, the cold water remains ON, throughout the cycle. This is leaving the clothes wet...

The timer is at fault.
During the spin cycle the timer should send intermittent power to the water valve. This activates cold to help rinse soap residue from the laundry.
If cold is continuous it means the timer is not breaking correctly.

Cloths are wet and suds left in tub

You are using too much soap probably run the machine with no clothes and no soap check and see how much soap you still have in the water if it is alot do it again and again if you have to.

There is an odor after the cloths are washed

You have a build up inside the washer. When it gets wet, it smells. When it dries out, the smell goes away. To solve this, first use 3 tables (one package) of AhFresh, or washer magic, or whirlaway, set washer on tub clean cycle if you have that cycle, or if not, use the hottest and longest cycle you have. Run cycle with no clothes. Now, to prevent this from reoccurring, make sure you use only ONE TABLESPOON of detergent or less per cycle, and only ONE TEASPOON of fabric softener per cycle if you use it. These washers use only a very small amount of water per cycle, and you must adjust additives accordingly to prevent odor and other problems. This is the number one problem people have with their front loading machines, and is 100% preventable! NOTE: You probably have soap residue left in your clothes. Try washing them with no soap once with to see if you get any suds in washer. You should see none if there isn't any remaining residue. Bath towels are usually just used to soak up clean water off your clean body. Don't use soap when you wash them. They don't need it.

Soap Dispence problem on GHW9200LW

In applications with low water pressure, insufficient water
volume is introduced during the fabric softener dispensing
portion of the cycle to flush the dispenser.
RESOLUTION:
The holes in the dispenser housing were enlarged to allow
a greater volume of water to flow through the fabric
softener dispenser to properly dispense the fabric softener.
Order and replace the dispenser housing, Part
#8181719, to correct the condition
