Try to do the factory reset. It is on the pop up main menu on the screen by pressing the screen button.
Thank you,

I have an old Kogi L9CH 19" Flat Panel LCD Monitor that pretty-much continually displays the on-sreen monitor menu for settings. I would like to take it apart to see what it could be but not sure how to...

It seems that you may have a faulty switch, I have included a video that covers Video Monitor Repair and generally is the same for most models. Things to keep in mind when repairing units is that components inside can have high voltage, sharp edges and corrosive content.

Each model is a little different yet the component placement and purpose is pretty universal for brands and display units. Please take care when opeining and diagnosing the issues with your unit.

I have lost the original power supply for my dell 1701fp monitor. I have a power supply that I think may work as a substitute until I can replace the original. I need to know, what the acceptable voltage...

What ever you use, it must be REGULATED power supply that will maintain 14vdc output, rating at 3A. These regulated power supply can easily maintain the output voltage within +/- 5% with input AC voltage range from 100~240vac.
Linear regulator power supply may not work since it has slow response time to regulate the voltage.

My LCD monitor is blinking green but no display is coming, some days back after blinking 15-20 minute display comes. But now display not come

Most common failure in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, falied inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what goes wrong:
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further.

We have the same problem as snoozi reported on may 31, 2009. I see no answers or resolutions posted. Is this monitor toast?

Sorry - found it!
Best I can suggest is trying another monitor. I'm pretty sure the display will be fine from the other monitor. If you have monitor drivers, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling them - however, I suspect your monitor is probably just an expensive paperweight now.

There is a different coloured band down the side of the sreen

This likely to be one of 2 things. 1: its a fault with your screen, try it on another computer if the stripe goes away its 2: the display card in your computer. if its 1: you will need a new screen. if its 2: you will need a new display/graphics card. neither of these items are normally fixable.

Try to change the monitor . The monitor with GS 6600 plug it out. Then unplug the monitor attached at the GS 7600 and plug it into gs 6600 and see the result.
If it is ok now. Then it you must to troubleshoot with the GS7600
display card.

Monitor (Dell 1701FP) flickers, flashes and goes black

Just to check - when the screen is black- can you see any image- in its un-illuminated state. To do this look sideways along the screen not straight at it. I suspect this is an inverter problem. Whether or not this is repairable I know not- depending on your local repair facilities Perhaps DELL can suggest a local agent.
