At one time , I had the experience with forgetting Windows password. Finally I use Windows Password Reset. The program is easy to use.
Here I just list the simple steps: Step 1: Download Windows Password Reset from http://www.windowspasswordreset.net Step 2: Burn bootable CD/DVD or USB flash drive Step 3: BIOS setting Step 4: Reset Windows password
It's worth a try! Good luck~
Remove the fuse to your radio or disconnect the battery for 1 min, once reconnected. This should reset the radio again, if it does not reset the radio. Your going to have get your radio re-booted at the dealer if it's a soft wear issue and if it's a mechanical issue. The Tech2 scanner will indicate that when trying to re boot the radio.
Thank you for using fixya.
u need to remove the interior panel around the cd player and on top of the cd player (infinity in my 2000 eclipse) and there will be sum numbers on the top. i don't remember which set of number u need so write them all down and call a dealer ship in the part dept. and they will *** the information and will be able to give u the code over the phone cuz i had the same problem twice and thats what i did both times. hope this is helpful
The security CD is the 1st CD you put in after reset.
For example: If you go to the shop and have the radio reset. On the way home you put in Jimi Hendrix, that CD becomes your security CD.
You better have that CD the next time you change your battery, or you'll be going back to the shop to have your radio reset.
with most eclipses they have a security cd feature...
what i mean is that the first cd you put in is like a key...
remember what cd you used the very first time... put that in and see if it unlocks it..
sounds weired but it worked on my personal player that locked on me
i searched all over and the only other solution i came up with was to send it into eclipse for a reset and screw that lol..
ampman
When you first set up the stereo, you inserted a security CD which was a CD of your choice. You need to just place that same CD in and it should restart your radio
