SOURCE: all-in-wonder fileplayer audio output

Tried third party software, intel audio updates and ATI was as good as anything else. The problem was solved by switching the audio out cable from the tv to the onboard sound jack and setting the record setting to line-in. The realization came when I read that the audio was recorded by the audio card....not the video. Playback setting is video card line-in. Thats right, I did not think my way through this one fast enough an wasted alot of time. I find that the cd from ati is a very good source for software and drivers and will continue to use it because the down load material can be mucked up by installing things out of order. ATI has come a long way to please so many users and products. Thanx ATI

I have an 8 ohm rca speaker jack that I want that output signal to be sent to another amplifier jack that would normally take the output audio from a CD player. Can that be done?

It will work but the sound quality will be quite bad as the audio input is around 600 ohms and you have 8 ohms from the speaker output, you can build a crossover circuit quite easily for a few dollars

More of a question than a problem. The speaker terminals list 8 ohm. Does this mean 8 ohm minimum, or would this output be able to support a 4 ohm load?

If the speaker terminal lists 8 ohm min on the back of the receiver, use the recommended rating, because the 4 ohm load will overheat the audio output ic's to the point it will short them or cause a shutdown in the receiver.

I have a mitsubishi HC5000BL projector and it has an audio out put on it and they refer to it as a trigger it is and 1/8 inch headphone jack. but it wont work i went through all the settings and turn the...

The trigger has nothing to do with audio and is to activate another device with a 12v signal, for example the screen. If you run the trigger into an audio device you'll probably kill it.

There are NO audio capabilities in this unit.

Do not use the signal output from the TRIGGER terminal as a power for other devices.

Do not link the TRIGGER terminal with an audio terminal of other device because that device may

be damaged.

The rated current for the TRIGGER terminal is 200 mA. If you use a current exceeding this rating,

a failure may occur.

For information about electric screens, please contact screen manufacturers.

Is it possible to hook the infinity bu-1 subwoofer to a home theater system where the subwoofer output is straight power say it"s like 25 watts coming out of that one channel and before the original...

In general higher speaker impedance is safer than lower impedance for the amp. Don't expect anything impressive re: audio output from a passive (unpowered) sub if your HTS says it pushes only 25 watts. Without frequency bandwidth and distortion noted the spec is virtually useless as a comparison.

The BU-1 is a powered sub that accepts either RCA Line Level or HIGH LEVEL amplifier power. If you use the latter, impedance is a non-issue because the input feeds the BU-1's internal amp, not the speaker directly. You should be okay.

Perhaps if we knew some specifics about the HTS we could do more than guess.

I have floor speakers that i replaced all the speakers in it with 4 ohm speakers and i just bought a onkyo receiver n it gets really hot and shut off 1 time....i was wondering if there is a way to wire it...

Home audio is typically 8 ohms. If the speakers you used were designed for mobile audio then this would be why the receiver is overheating. You may be overloading the output

Connecting speakers.

The speakers cannot be connected directly to the audio outputs. These outputs are for use with an external amplifier. Connecting speakers directly to these audio outputs can cause damage to the set. Thanks

Af audio power amp

On the YD1022 the pinout is: Corresponding pins on the TA7222 :

1,5 & 6 are ground 3, 7 & 8
2 is audio input 4
3 is feedback 6
4 grounds through a capacitor for frequency compensation 5
7 & 8 are audio output 9
9 & 10 are +12VDC VCC 1

The TA7222 also uses pin 10 for feedback & freq. comp. The circuits are very different & would need to be redesigned to interchange these chips.
