This is the only software I could find:

http://support.jvc.com/consumer/custrel/index.jsp

One thing I noticed is that they don't have them for Vista (if that's what you're using).

All you can really do is contact JVC and give them a piece of your mind (or be nice and wait for an updated driver). I know it's frustrating that you spend $600 on a camera and can't use it because of Vista.

Is the JVC mg 330 compatiable with editing program Cyberlink power director 8.0

if it is a video editor..and you have the driver for the camera to connect it to the computer ..it is ..cause all video editors with import from device features work with all cameras..the issue is the communication with the computer so..it probably need a driver if it do not have one that came on a disk when you bought it ..

I just want to know if there is a way i can stream video or at least have it where it broad cast's on my computer. kinda how you hook the a/v to the T.V. but on the computer

This model does not support video streaming. you can only transfer videos as file, as if you are connecting an external hard disk drive, sorry, next to this series GZ-MG155 has firewire via docking station.

JVC Everio GZ-HD3 Flash Media Camcorder

If you plug in the USB cable from the camera to a Windows XP machine, the Everio disk looks like a USB disk drive, and I can copy the files over using Windows Explorer. In order to convert them to MPG files, we are using Cyberlink PowerDirector5 NE Express, since the camera produces TOD files, which need to be converted to MPG. We are using MAGIX as the video editor after the conversion from TOD to MPG.
