Sync cable contact assignment

I have this Foxda FM6602 MP3 player but have lost its sync cable, which is on one end a regular male USB plug, and a 4-prong 3.5mm earphone-like plug on the other end. Can anyone please tell me what is the assignment of the contacts (e.g. +,D+,D-,- from the tip)so that I can rebuild myself one? Thank you so much.

SOURCE: FOXDA FM-6602 MP3 Player

The Player was damaged and requested you to reformat the drive "media". Now you've reformatted it with a different FileSystem. You have to format it using the "Command Prompt".. Click Start, then select "Run..." Then Type "cmd" you'll get a black screen, and a prompt line. Type format X: /fs:fat note: (X:) is the drive letter for your mp3 player's media. Now agree by typing Y. If you got errors, that mostly means that your media went bad & not worth the repair. Tell us what happen with you. Good Luck

How do i download music on my gpx mp3 player

Most MP3 players will have a cable that came with them. This is normally a universal cable that also can sync with your computer. Plug that cable into your computer via USB, and the other end into the MP3 player. A menu should pop up on your computer showing you the different files, and/or music on the MP3 player. From there, you can drag and drop whatever music you want on it from your computer.

How do I add music?

Here Goes:

  1. Plug in the Philips mp3 player to your computer. Use a USB cable to make the connection so you can begin synchronizing your music collection.
  2. Start Windows Media Player. Depending on how your computer is set up, this program may start automatically when you make the connection with the MP3 player
  3. Find the Sync tab in the media player window. Click on this tab and open the Sync screen. The Sync screen has two panes. The left pane is for the music collection on your computer; the right pane is for the Philips MP3 Player
  4. Choose the songs from your collection that you want to add to theMp3 Player's memory. Check the boxes that are presented by each song title
  5. Click the "Start Sync" button. The files from your computer are being copied onto your MP3 player.
  6. Wait for the sync to complete. You can monitor the progress in the "Windows Media Player" window.
  7. Close the media player program. Unplug your Philips mp3 player from the computer
  • NOTE: If this doesn't work you might be able to see your player in the MY Computer window.(after you connect it via USB cable) Select the player copy the songs and paste them into the player. Safely remove the device. You should be able to play the songs ..

Trying to sync iphone 3gs with headunit. No connection.

hi you can try this
On the back of the head unit is a short USB female connection that comes from the back of the unit. Included w/ the head unit is a USB cable with a female and male end. Its about 6ft. I plugged the included USB cable into the unit, and on the other end of the cable I attached my 3G sync cable that came with the 3G. You dont need to use a AUX cable or AUX input although there is one on the unit. Your 30 pin 3G sync cable will charge and play music through that cable. if all fails you will need to reset your unit and possibly change cable check all connections .....hope this helps goodluck with it let me know

I cant find out what cord to use

Go to www.ebay.com and put in the name and model of your player in the search panel.
I went there and I saw over 200 sync cables for your Samsung YP K3 MP3 player.
You will need a USB data/sync cable. One end will plug into your MP3 player, the other end will plug into the computer USB port for charging and downloading music to your player.
Good Luck,
I hope this helps

Sync

Inorder to sync the player just simply plug in the usb cable to the bottom, open up the drive that mounts as a result. Then simply drop the songs into the main window and then go to bottom of windows and tell it to unmount and your system will automaticly pick it up.
