I had same problem. The ballast is bad and I'm lloking to see if I can get just the ballast. I know the ballast is bad because I had an identical light kit that I hadn't installed on another light yet and used it to see if the first ballast was bad. It was. I suspect I (we) will have to get a new light kit. That kit won't be anything fancy, just something that will take a regular lamp.

Convert Circline 3-way torchier to regular led bulb

To replace the two Circline Fluorescent bulbs in your torchiere floor lamp with LED bulbs, you will need to purchase LED bulbs that are compatible with the lamp's socket and have the same wattage as the original bulbs. Here are the steps to replace the bulbs:
  1. Unplug the lamp from the wall outlet to ensure that it is completely powered off.
  2. Remove the glass shade from the lamp by unscrewing it or lifting it off.
  3. Locate the two fluorescent bulbs in the lamp and unscrew them from their sockets.
  4. Insert the new LED bulbs into the sockets, making sure that they are securely in place.
  5. Replace the glass shade on the lamp and plug the lamp back into the wall outlet.
  6. Turn on the lamp and test the new LED bulbs to make sure that they are working properly.
  7. If you want to control the lamp with a smart outlet, you will need to install a smart switch or plug to control the outlet.
Note that it may be impossible to make the first click to not do anything, as it is part of the design of the lamp and how it was made to switch between the two bulbs.

My windward iii has a down light and an uplight. The down light no longer works. I ordered a new circline bulb and it still doesn’t work. Any ideas?

Most likely the ballast is bad. The circline bulb is a type of fluorescent bulb that depends on getting power from the ballast. You'll need to contact Hampton Bay Customer Service at 1-877-527-0313 during their business hours (8-6 PM M-F). Make sure that you have the SKU handy. If your ceiling fan was purchased less than two years ago, then you can try to get a warranty replacement. For best results, you should have registered the fan at gpwarranty.com . The address is:
G.P. Warranty Service Center, Inc.
Warranty Section
1951 N.W. 22nd STREET
FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA 33311

I hope this helps.

HP Laserjet 3330. Scanner bulb warming up doesn't go away. I have done the "solution 1" as discribte but nothing is happening. It goes like: - i put the power on, hewlett packard is flashing, the...

How does the bulb look? Is it bright or kind of dim. The bulb warming error is designed to halt use of the machine until the scanner bulb reaches the correct output level. As these are basically a flourescent tube, they will dim over time and at a certain point they will not generate enough light to enable proper scanning. If the bulb is dim, it will require replacement.
