Yes there is.But let me give you an explaination of somethign in the scanner.Once you turn the power save mode off, If the copier has sat for a while and saws WARMING UP, It is not the power save setting. The scan lamp also has to reach operating temperature for the machine to run. So even after Power Save is off, you may get an occcasional Please wait Warming up before a copy. There is no settings or changes for the scanner lamp warming. I throw that in so you don't suspect you did something wrong in changing settings.

Press the [Machine Status] button on the Control Panel. 'Machine Setup' will be displayed on the Display Screen.

  1. Press the [Enter] button. 'Machine Setup Tray 1 Size' will be displayed.
  2. Press the [Left] or [Right] arrow button until 'Power Save' is displayed, and then press the [Enter] button.
  3. Press the [Left] or [Right] arrow button to select 'On' or 'Off' to enable or disable the Power Save mode.
  4. Press the [Enter] button to save the setting.
  5. If Off is selected, skip to step 9.
  6. If On is selected, press the [Left] or [Right] arrow button to select the required time interval.
  7. Press [Enter] to save the setting.
  8. Press the [Stop] button to return to the Standby mode.

Prostart 6 button in sleep mode

Sleep mode is a convenient power-saving feature used on both laptops and desktop computers. This feature powers down hard disks, monitors, wireless devices and any other power-consuming peripherals without turning the unit completely off and necessitating a reboot. Sleep mode can prevent battery drain if using a laptop or mobile device while away from the power supply. This mode is useful when quick access to a computer is needed, but can be irritating if the sleep mode takes a long time to come back from. It is simple to turn sleep mode off, based on the operating system being used.

Go to the "Start" button, then click on "Control Panel." In the control panel screen, click "System and Maintenance," then click on "Power Options." This brings you to the "Select a power plan" page. From the "Select a power plan" page, select the option that says "Change plan settings." This changes the settings on the currently selected plan. Select the "Change advanced power settings" option. Click "Sleep" and then click on "Sleep After" to expand it. If using a laptop or mobile PC, click "On battery" and "Plugged in," then select the "Never" option. This turns off sleep mode for both battery and AC use. If you are using a desktop computer, click "Setting," click the arrow and then click "Never" to turn off sleep mode. Click "OK," then click "Save changes" to save the modification. b> Turning Off Sleep Mode - Mac OS b> Click on the Apple logo at the upper left corner of the screen to open the menu and select the "System Preferences" option. From the "System Preferences" screen, click on "Energy Saver." If you are using a desktop, select "Power Adapter" in the top drop-down menu. In the second drop-down menu, select "Custom." Highlight the "Sleep" tab, then adjust the top slider to the far right, marked "Never." I f you wish the display to stay on, adjust the bottom slider to "Never." Click the red button on the upper left side of the "Energy Saver" screen. If you are using a mobile product or laptop, follow step 2 and select "Battery" from the top drop-down menu. Repeat step 3 to change the settings for battery use. Hope this helps.

I am unable to access the internet from sleep mode Can only get on internet from shut down mode

Three possible causes of sleep mode. first, an extensive screensaver with password lock prevents display. A condition that is observable as a blankscreen also known as sleep mode. Second, a computer power saver settings that shutsdown during idleness. Third, An improper shut down of the computer would have caused a sleep mode to save the system data files.

Restoring the computer to regular functionalioty

First solving predictable sleep mode settings
1. A movement of mouse pointer across the screen should reestablish unprotected password modes
a. password protected sleep mode would display an promp message requiring key code soon after the mouse pointer has changed direction

sloving unpredictable sleep mode settings
1.A computer power saver, screen saver, or splash screen displays prevnting programs acess would require manually powering off the computer system.
a. A manual power back on of the system should restore to program functionality mode

ENERGY SAver is stuck on

I know it's an older post, but you still may be waiting an answer:
What is probably happening is Your power board is failing to maintain power enough to run the bulbs and the rest.
That is why it takes long to start up and why it goes into sleep mode.
Does the power button stay lit (getting signal) or turn to amber (sleep mode) or does it flash.
