On this model, code F7 means there is a keypad malfunction, and therefore the range's "computer" isn't getting a valid signal from the keypad. It may be a stuck "touch-key", a bad connection between keypad membrane and the range/computer connector, or more probably a faulty keypad membrane.

In some cases it can be a defective computer module. You can test whether the problem is the keypad or computer unit by disconnecting the keypad entirely. If an error code F7 still shows, then the computer is faulty.

The error code F7 means that the Function key is shorted or stuck. TO fix this error, replace touch pad or if touch pad is part of the clock, replace the clock (ERC).

F7 error code means the function key shorted for over 16 seconds, check for something pressing a key or preventing normal release of the key. You can fix it by replacing the electronic range control (ERC) if other component check normal.

f7 error code usually means stuck function switch on control panel. Need to check each button or switch to see which one is stuck

F7 A = Function pad button stuck or
B = Bad clock Unstick button or
Replace Electronic Range Control (ERC)

I figure you me f7 and f8 here is what the coad means. there is no d8 code.
F7 This code usually means that there is a problem with the keypanel. Many times, it means the keypanel needs to be replaced. F8 This code usually means that the electronic control needs to be replaced.
