Flashing red lights as trys to turn on

I tried to turn it on while holding the MENU AND DEVICE buttons.
the power lamp flashed a 12 (maybe 21, but probably 12)

reset button clears red flashing lamp but repeats if I try to turn back on.

replaced the lamp, but to no avail

    I called Costco and inquired about the problem.
    I told them that I had replaced the bulb 3 times so far, also.

    The girl told me that if I had called them they would have sent me the bulbs.
    But for this problem, I bought the set 2 years 25 days ago.

    She told me to take it back to the Costco warehouse where I bought it and they will take it back under the 100% satisfaction guarantee.
    They MAY only give me a credit towards a different TV which is fine and dandy to me
    Surprised the heck out of me

    Also may be a burt pico fuse, I've seen this this or for the supply for the convergence ic's look for 4 amp pico.

    Just to let you know I have alway's find the mitch, tv's the best in all there design this is what I have at home upstairs and downstars..

We have a Mitsubishi TV model# WD-60735.. we have changed the lamp because it was flashing red but now its flashing yellow and the tv will not turn on..

Mitsubishi TV troubleshooting
Here's something that might also be useful. After you turn on the set, and get the regular red blinky lights, hold down the Device and Menu buttons together for about 5 seconds.
The Power light will start to flash in a two digit sequence.
For example, 3 flashes, then 7 flashes = 37.
Here are the error codes, and the corresponding problem:
12 = No error detected, check power supply.
32 = Lamp Cover is open.
33 = Air filter cover is open.
34 = Lamp abnormality
36 = Light Engine (DMD or Lamp Fan stopped)
37 = Exhaust or Lamp Ballast Fan stopped
38 = Lamp Temperature High
39 = DMD Temperature High
41 = Short is detected
44 = DVI cable between FMT and Engine disconnected

My mitsubishi flashes a red light what does that mean

Red light is usually lamp indicator---may be time to replace the lamp--they have a 2000 hour life span except for generic ones which last half that long----when was lamp last replaced? also the set does have a self check:

After you turn on the set, and get the regular red blinky lights, hold down the Device and Menu buttons together for about 5 seconds.
The Power light will start to flash in a two digit sequence.
For example, 3 flashes, then 7 flashes = 37.
