I used to get my pictures and videos on my iriver e10 but after I format the player by accident, I can't get any pictures or videos on the player. I use iriver plus 3 to transfer the pictures. It said the transfer was completed but when i turn on my e10, the pictures don't show.

are you sure you want to do that (format).. format will erase everything music media and software...
if you really want to format, plug e10 up to pc...goto my computer..open the e10...and copy the software (hidden also) and paste to a temp folder on the pc....now right click on the e10.. scroll down to format drive...ok, done now go back to that temp folder and copy all the software and paste back to e10... you should a brand new like e10 (starting all over, add your mp3 files)
Hi there, Based on iRiver E10 User's Guide, you can use iRiver Plus Software to transfer music and picture files to E10. If you dont have the software iRiver Plus, you can download and get the installation guide here:

Just get this tool to help you. 1. load your file to Video Sharer 2. choose AVI format 3. click" convert" button. Then you will get the right format. Here is the tool for you: http://www.asharer.com/download-video-sharer
Software / Media Transfer
The E100 comes packaged with a disc containing iriver plus 3 media player, firmware updater, video converter, and Windows Media Player 11. If you have owned an iriver player, you are familiar with this software with the included iriver media player. This is a standard media player much like any other but has a few features catering to the iriver family of players, such as a firmware updater, ebook txt manager, and video converter. This media player is a bit different from Windows Media Player but still is straightforward and easy to use. If you don’t care for iriver’s media player you can always use any other MTP based media player to manage playlists and load your E100 since also included on the disc is a video converter and firmware updating utility.
If you don’t like to use media players to transfer the E100 will allow you to select either MTP or MSC transfer mode. This means it is drag and drop and also compatible with any OS. Drag and drop will work fine in MTP mode as well, but only if you are using Windows XP SP2 or Vista.
and the difference between e10 / e100 your guess is just as good as mine
1.Download and install iriverter (http://iriverter.sourceforge.net).
2.Open the Profiles folder (C:\Program Files\iriverter\profiles).
3.Make a COPY of the u10.profile file, and name it e10.profile.
4.Open the newly created e10.profile within I USED NOTEPAD.
5.Change the device from “u10′ to “e10′.
7.Save the file, and close it.
6.Change the dimensions from “320×240′ to “128×128′.
8.Launch iriverter, and select the E10 under Options > Device > iriver.
9.Click the Single Video button.
10.Specify the video file to be converted for the input field, and specify the output file where you want to save it. ( thanks Boi )
can i suggest you try rockox http://build.rockbox.org/ this will give you more than the regular ole iriver software.
but if you really want to start fresh back up the e10 iriver software, format you e10, re-install iriver software, add your media back (i've done this with my kids ipods also..and it works like new)
good luck............feel free to rate if helpful
