On my xbox, i have a 48 hour free trial leaflet. i hav done what it says but it wont let me join xbox live. what do i do?

This means you don't have xbox live gold membership , you will need xbox live gold membership in order to play online

or if you have any free xbox live trials like 48 hours or 14 day , use it you can access online features in those limited time

if its a trial code eg. 48 hours etc you can only use one at once if you try using more than one at once then the extra codes will get cancelled, did you purchase it from a shop if so return it and explain its not working or on the reverse or packaging there should be a contact number for microsoft xbox if not try on the website as microsoft can trace where and when these codes were activated

If you have a card for the free trial, there code obscured by silver stuff have scrape off or possibly a cardboard strip to tear off. Once you have your code all you need to to do is bring up the xbox guide (by pressing the big round button in the center of the remote), scroll across to the left-most section and choose the "Redeem code" option. Then just enter your code.

connect your xbox to internet. click on your account and select"join xbox live" when you register you will be started off with a free trial go to gamestore and buy an xbox live gold membership monthley card or buy a gold member ship online. once your trial runs down you will live off a silver account which doesnt let you join partys, play online with friends,etc.
