Radio cuts out but can not hear caller or them hear me

Hi there I wonder if you could help. I have had my parrot professionally fitted and works to a degree! I can phone out and people can phone me, however they can not hear me and I can not hear them, but if I lift the phone up I can hear. The radio cuts off both for in and out calls. It is fully connected and sychronised etc….
Any ideas? Please help!

It sounds like a fault with the mic, mabe it is trapped or not plugged in properly. get your engineer back to sort it, they should have fully tested it before leaving.

When I make a call using iPhone and parrot v5.11c caller cannot hear me

You will need to upgrade the software to version 5.29c which is the latest one. You will need s special cable to do this or contact your local Parrot accredited engineer who will have the cable.

Hi , i have parrot ck 3100lcd, i call somebody and they and they can hear me, but i can not hear them , my parrot doesnt ring, but radio is cut off . what is the problem ? thanks, Remis .

your 3100 may need an up-grade, have you changed your phone lately? most common problem is that new phones have newer software versions and you need to up-grade the software on the parrot 3100 to suit

Wil let me answer the call and i can hear the caller but the caller cant hear me

The wire for the microphone on those are somewhat flimsy so there's a possibility that it has been damaged. This can happen if the wire becomes crimped or pinched. In order to check this you will need access to the brain (bluebox) which should be somewhere inside the dash. You can check this with standard headphones, like from an ipod. Just plug the headphones in where the microphone is normally plugged in and make an phone call. The person on the other end may notice a lesser quality than usual, but if they are able to hear you it's the microphone. Replacement microphones can be purchased from Parrot at their site or occasionally on eBay.

Hope this helps

Connected Parrot Ck3100 in Toyota Rav4 with Alpine 5897 aftermarket head unit. Tapped the Parrot harness into the speaker wire between the Front driver side speaker and amp, per instructions and phone...

First, you will have to ensure that the vehicle doesn't have an amplified system build in it. Cause in that case the kit should use the two wires line in and line out and check behind the autoradio if you have the entries line in line out. (with this solution, no accessibility with the mute when you have the radio and you receive a call).

But the general idea is to ensure about the vehicle system build in it, cause with an amplified system, you have to avoid it to passing the sound directly to the speakers. (may be wires to wires or a specific harness which is taking acount of it).
