Same problem, just get the Creative logo (with the triangle in place of the A) when I turn it on. Obviously the player is not simply locked!

This is a second hand player bought off of eBay. I searched a bit and managed to get some response from it, connecting it to my PC. However, when I charged it up and went to use it the next day, the logo was back and stopping anything from happening. Anyone have any ideas of any proper solution?

When I turn on the mp3 player it starts to boot up as usual but then freezes with the Creative logo across the screen. It also makes a rhythmic sound for that lasts about 5 seconds. The only way to shut it off is to remove the battery. When I plug the unit into my pc as well as my creative software do not recognize it. I have been to the Creative web site and tried to upgrade the firmware but to no avail. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Betwenn the headphone socker and the power switch is the lock control. I'm thinking maybe your player is just locked. Try moving the switch to the other setting.

Let me know how you get on!

I cant get my camera to turn on. thanks for your

Fist charger your SONY Cyber-shot DSC-W120 battery and clean the connect place of the battery and camera. Please make sure that the battery has been charged by the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W120 charger. Li-ion batteries life is about 2-3 years, and if you have stored your battery with no power for a long time, the battery maybe has been damaged. When store Li-ion batteries you should charged it at about 40% first.

Sony DSC H-5 Camera slow response time

There is a diaphram between the shutter button and the shutter that does the focus. Pushing the button half way down pre-focuses and then the picture is instantanious. If the diaphram is broken it take a while before the shutter takes the picture. One of the AA batteries may be defective so try another set and see if that is better. There is also a slight possibility that the secondary battery (hidden within the camera) has gone bad.

My 4gb zen creative mp3 player wont turn on

Your battery might be shot. It's a possibility, but if that is not the case then your player might have short circuted or something. but most likely case is that your battery is shot.

Battery problems

Sounds like the battery is shot. Does the camcorder work ok on the AC cord?

Battery life

Are you keeping the large LCD screen on all the time? If so, that will dramatically reduce battery life. Same goes for flash use (although for 8 shots shouldn't be a factor) and constant stabilization. Also, by low battery do you mean that the camera is turning itself off and can't be turned back on? If just the icon is showing low battery life, it could be that the sensor wrong. I have an MP3 player that will say it has zero battery power, but will really play for another two hours. You should be able to take many more than 8 shots with one battery. I've taken 500 photos over a period of nine days on one battery with my FZ10. Viewfinder only, stabilization only when shooting, no flash use.
