Check for 5Vdc standby voltage, you need this first before going further. The controller board needs this voltage for the micro controller to work, when thw power switch or the remote turn on (the remote receiver on the TV also uses this 5vdc) is sent to the TV, the controller board will send the ON signal to turn on the rest of the power supply on. Look on the power supply connector for 5VDC, it should be there the minute you plug the set into the outlet. Please post back what you find. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capacitor_plague

My sanyo flat screen DP55360 won't power on. How can I fix it?

Only things you can do is check to make sure that power is getting to the set and that there is no blown fuse on the power supply. If usit is totally dead it is a power supply issue and you might look for bulging or blown capacitors. If all looks nice and perfecto then your best bet is to get someone in who can replace the power supply with a known working one to see if that takes care of the anomaly.

How do i fix a tv sanyo DP 42849 IS NOT TURNING ON

Fault with the main power supply regulator board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.

It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

KONKA flat-screen 26" model KL26AS22U: no

I'm sorry that the TV is not turning ON as expected. Please follow the below troubleshooting steps and check the operation:

  1. Please make sure that the connections are secure and proper.
  2. Try connecting to a different wall outlet to make sure that the issue is not with the power.
  3. Check for any burning spots on the board of the TV.
  4. Check the voltage level of the each board with the help of a multimeter.

Thanks for understanding.

3 YEAR OLD SANYO DP 32746. SHUT ITSELF OFF, CAN NOT TURN BACK ON

If you leave the tv unplugged for 2 days (atleast) then plug it back in and try to turn it on and if it comes on its the power supply board. If it comes back on it will probably shut off between 30min to 4hrs and you would have to unplug it for 2 days again. All the power needs to drain out of the tv. If thats the case take the back pannel off and check the part number out on the internet. Not hard to do becarefull touching things the power supply does store a little bit or shock in it. Good Luck.
