At first the sound would not come on.This was fixed but now the tv does not want to turn on -only the flashing blue on light is visible.I tried the resets and repluging into the wall socket.The set came on briefly a couple times doing this but now the blue light comes on flashing and no picture.Help !

Question edited for clarity, your television is 'Nordmende', not 'Norfmende'.

Time for a new one, but try the power reset first as mentioned here.

Well.hello friendly customer do you know that that's a plasma TV that TV is dangerous and that TV is not easy to fix most anybody on here can I help you but I can tell you this much if you still have sound but you don't have picture in the back of the TV there are three boards on the left side two are buffers what is called the sustain board 1 or all of those boards are bad now look take this TV to a shop because if you're not experienced and you try to work on it you will ruin the rest of the boards in the back of that TV that I can guarantee

The light should be visible if you are on active hold. Just try and see if the device works as is. If so you answered your own problem. If not, contact the manufacturer for a fix.

Hi, maybe the TV controller board is blocked, you can reset it, by disconnecting power cable from outlet for about 5 minutes, if that doesn't work, possibly and internal board or component must be repaired of replaced, in such case it's better to contact an authorized Samsung service center or technician to check your TV.

Sounds like the Blue CRT has an issue which is very common problem for that model. I wouls try replacing the Blue CRT assembly.

Unfortunately I can promise you that you CANNOT repair this. Your power and opc lights coming on, but the tv is not coming on. That is a issue within the tv. Give sharp a call and they will have somebody come fix your tv free of charge, if they cant fix it, they will replace it for free. That is the only thing you can do. Sorry bro
