Check the wiring for the dryer from cord to the terminal block and then to the control board. If all the wiring is good you will need a control board.

There is a thermal fuse on top of element housing.

You may have a bad timer, door switch, start switch, motor or terminal block. You should have a repairman test them all.

Very likely whatever made the terminal block break caused the internal thermal fuse inside the dryer blow,causing the dryer to now not start. You can get to the thermal fuse which is not resettable and must be replaced by removing the front panel and find the thermal fuse in the housing where the blower wheel is...it will look smilar to this picture for you exact model the part number is 306604 and the terminal block with should also be replaced is 400008 they could be purchased at your local appliance parts store or online at;

There can be many reasons why your dryer will not start or turn...

Your problem could be caused by a bad felt seal..the drum rotates against this seal. The purpose of the seal is to seal the hot air from going out of the drum and into the room.
Remove the front of the dryer and this should expose the drum and felt seal.

check that you didnt disturb any wireing by mistake. then chec the contunity on your heating element. they are actually pretty fragile.

You have to remove the top lid. Then remove the front panel. Then remove the belt and drum.
Your problem is a bad rear drum support assembly.
Remember to unplug the dryer.

Take off front and put belt over drum. Reinstall front. Take small access panel off back to install belt on motor. Idler pulley pushes against belt to tension it. Thanks, please leave feedback or contact me again for more info if you need it.

If there are any lose wires connected to the dryer terminal block and there is any sign of current draw like black around it or if it just looks bad in general then yes it does pose a threat of a fire hazard or electrical hazard like shocking you when u touch the frame.
