I am using the Dual xdvd8182. When I turn on the radio, the screen will not work when it's fully up. It will only work if it's tilted enough that I can not see the screen. When it is fully up the screen will be off but the touch capability will still be working. Does anyone know what can be the problem?

ground the green wire at the wiring harness at the back of the deck but first try setting the e-brake and the code well u just (hold) the next track button 15secs and it should just go past
It is illegal and unsafe to watch the monitor while driving. I assume this is needed for an RV or something.
STEP ONE. Ground the E-Brake wire. No matter which method you use, you must ground the brake detection wire. I suggest you tap it into the ground wire on your wiring harness (ensures a good ground).
1. FACTORY RESET METHOD (Temporary) (This isn't the most effective, but it is the easiest to try, so it's worth a shot since it apparently works on some units.) ** Go to the Menu ** Get to the Settings Menu ** Select <yes> to Reset to Factory Settings. Credit: DKA
Have recently heard complaints of this method not being permanent, as this is needed everytime they want to watch a DVD. Also, radio and screen angle presets are lost.

2. AUDIO CD METHOD (Permanent) ** Insert Audio CD ** Press PLAY ** Press STOP twice on remote ** Enter 26604 on remote ** Press ENTER ** Take out Audio CD and Insert a DVD Credit: Myself via a DUAL Tech

3. DVD METHOD (Permanent) ** Insert a DVD ** Let it play until you hear sound ** Press STOP twice on remote ** Enter 26604 ** Press ENTER Credit: Adam P.
The blue warning screen should immediately go away after pressing the last digit of "26604." Still press ENTER as a precaution.
1. Find the reset button on the unit and press it down for 10 seconds.
2. Disconnect the battery for at least 30 minutes then reconnect.
These simple options usally work. If not you have a faulty unit and its possible that it has been damaged by condensation from the a/c. Ive seen it a good many times especially in Honda's.
try this we dont have the same dual model but the code isnt for my model anyway. put a dvd in the player and after it comes up with the warning screen when you start to hear sound hit stop twice on the remote and then press 26604 then just find the parking break override menu and turn it to on
important. you must ground out the wire and take the switch out first! hope this helps.
