My camera not comming on

There are (2) common (non-terminal) issues that cause this problem.
1) the contacts inside the camera have become oxidized...., using the eraser on the end of a pencil..., rub (clean) the contacts inside the cameras battery compartment.
2) Modern Li-Ion batteries often last only (3) years...,(if you have good ones)...., so what happens is that as the batteries reach the end of their life span they quite often will work one day and not the next (but show that they are fully charged). Thus if you only have the (1) battery, you will not know if it is the battery, the charger or the camera. Go to your local camera store (with your camera & battery) and see if they are willing to put a new battery in your camera..., if it powers up it's your battery or charger. ask if they will then try to charge your old battery on their charger for 1/2 an hour..., this is enough of a charge to find out if your camera will turn on using the old battery.
Now you must ask yourself, if I need to purchase a new battery of charger..., is it worth it.

I need a charger for my Samsung WB600. I somehow lost it. Still have the USB cable. Any suggestions?

The Samsung WB600 digital camera is also known as the Samsung HZ30W. (see the Samsung Product page.for accessories, manual, etc.)
pchpatti_5.pngpchpatti_6.png It uses the Samsung SLB11A Lithium Ion rechargeable battery. Several third-party compatiable chargers for this battery are available through retailers such as Amazon.com:
Add shipping costs for each.
An extra battery is usually a good idea, too.

It turns on then off almost instantly, the batery is fully charged.

Hi there please follow the steps and let me know the result.
1. Ensure batteries are fully charged & clean the battery connector point in side the battery compartment.
2. Look carefully between the lens and the camera body for any sand, dirt or any damaged etc.
3. Try turning the camera with the lens facing down and shake to dislodge anything stuck
4. Try removing batteries and memory card, wait 5 minutes and refit the battery only.
5. Now turn on camera( with out card ) and see ,if working then fix the memory card & again turn on the camera. If working then fine . Otherwise format the memory card and fix back in camera again & try. Make sure before format the memory card take a back up all photos in your computer then format. If no luck then reset or restore the camera setting by pressing Menu key for 2 sec .. in not done the press both Menu & self time key for 2 - 4 sec.
i hope it will gives you success.

It wont turn on i even bought a new batery and still nothing what could it be?

Is your new battery charged? You may need to place it in the charger or hook the camera to the AC power and leave it overnight. If you have a charging cradle try to charge the battery that way. Sometimes that arrive dead.

I can't find where to conect the batery charger to the batery?

The battery is located under the seat. You can connect the charger directly to the battery there or you can connect the positive battery charger clamp to the post on the starter and the negative charger clamp to a good frame ground.

Good Luck

Hi i have a sony dcr-pc3 my wife bought it in 2000 and it never holds a charge the longest we get is about 10 minutes we bought a new battery and have just bought a new charger same old...

Well if you have bought the right battery and the proper charger this sounds very odd, did the amp hr and every say the same details on the battery & charger as the old one? when you charge the camera how long was it till you used the camera? as Sony cameras lose around 30% charge per week, I know because I have a Sony still camera and movie, both lose charge, my still camera goes flat in 3 weeks after a full charge with no use at all, so they are never good bits of equipment with batterys.

Battery not charging

Dead battery, get a new one. Only buy AGM (absorbed glass mat) battery for motorcycles, not lead acid, will last much longer.

1995 883 hugger not charging how to check system have new battery

you do not need to open the cover/dynamo yet,and donot replace the light coil yet.Letting you know,a motorcycle have 3 lines, the primary coil which supplies the ignition through the sparkplug; the secondary which supplies the headlight & the rectifier diode through the batery.
Now,look at any color of wire from the dynamo except black.( becos black is mostly common color from the primary coil.) ...second,look for the recifier diode( usually attached to the chassis or body of the motorcycle.)and check the wire attached on it..(the one wire is from the dynamo & the other one directly goes to the batery).test the wire from the dynamo if it has a power coming from it.If,there is a power from it then the secondary coil need not to be replaced..The next thing you must do is this:
if your batery does not charge, check first the rectifier diode or known as "charger" if it is shorted..You can check it by simply let the two terminals of the said diode to be switched or to swap each others socket..after doing this, while the motorcycle is working or firing, check the one wire of the diode which suppose to go through the batery if it has a power..if it has,it is surely the problem is in your diode or charger.you need to replace it
becos the use of the diode/charger is just a one way of passing electricity.,that when a power from a dynamo will go to the batery, it will not go back the said power from the batery itself to the said dynamo, and thats why batery draining will not happen..
i hope that i can help.send me a message if you still have a question..

When the battery is in the charger it flashes red & won't charge, have no idea what problem is! Have casio exilim lithium ion NP-20 battery & a casio exilim 7.2 megapixels camera. Can't turn camera...

I called casio and they told me that when you have a red flashing light on the charger it means the lithium battery is no longer any good. They offered to send me one free of charge. It's been several weeks and I have yet to receive it.

i would replace the charger 1st seeing as its the cheapest thing to do. if that doesnt solve the problem. return the charger to where ever you got it from and purchase a new battery.
