Need the postscript driver for a HP Officejet 6310

have you installed the driver as well as ALL the application software for the 6310 ?
the scanner application should be on the CD that the printer came with

There are some new critical updates regarding scanning and Windows 7 and your printer.

You need the full-featured printer software to enable the scanning features on your OfficeJet. You may download the software from HP: (choose your operating system)
