Totaline thermostat blank no A/C

Likely have a tripped float switch. Drain line is clogged must shoovac drain clean and empty float switch on drain line.

It's probably the liquid crystal has a crack and is flowing inside the glass. It can only be repaired with a new display.

Totaline Thermostate P274-1100 works fine when following programming but when I adjust the temperature manually it will start the furnace and after a few minutes the screen displays E2 error, blanks out,...

E2 is the error code for low line voltage. I would think that this is a erroneous code witch would indicate that the thermostat is defective. do you know if this is true line voltage 120v or transformer voltage 24v?

I don't know anything about your particular T-stat, but power comes from the transformer and there should be a 3 amp fuse next to the transformer. They're both located in the air handler (where the fan and evaporator coil Is).

Model # P2740300 totaline thermostat has a blank screen. It's not getting power?

Normally all thermostat functioning with 24 volt. Check power in your thermostat. If not 24 volts, the transformer input where it should be 110/220 volts be there. If yes, your transformer winding open,. Replace transformer. If not,check power.

Replace the batteries first. If that does not fix it, you either have lost 24V from the furnace/airhandler, or the thermostat is bad.

You may get lucky and find that the only problem is a blown 3 or 5 amp fuse on the board. Although that usually indicates a short somewhere in the system.

I have a Totaline P474-1010 thermostat that won't display anything. It is dead. It doesn't have batteries and it worked when I went to bed, when I awoke it didn't display anything or work at all.

It is powered by a 24v transformer which is usually located in the outside condenser. They usually don't go bad but, it can happen.
