Lcd has a crack from inside. how can I replace it at a reasonable cost.

The short answer is a cracked LCD is not worth repairing.

Yes, lcd screen is broken internally and need to be replaced but it would cost you more than camera worth, let me know if you still need part number of required lcd screen.

Unless someone is giving away a good lcd panel that is compatible with this model or selling it/auctioning it off for a reasonable price it will cost you 80% of the cost of a new television at the least to repair this. In a lot of cases the panel itself can cost thousands of dollars (I've seen them run as much as $10,000). The labor will add to the cost. The only entities I've seen repair broken panels are the network news stations because the cost is coming from the television station and not out of anyone's pocket.

The set needs a new LCD if it looks cracked and swirly, the colors all run together in the area of the crack don't they! If it is cracked it can't be fixed. you can replace the lcd but I am not sure if a warranty will cover a cracked screen or not. You will need to contact LG and be very nice to them and see if they will honer the warranty on this.

For the cost of the panel, you could purchase a 65" LCD TV with a service contract and delivery. For some reason, Sharp replacement LCD panels have such a cost factor that repair is never economical. It's a sad ordeal, because they do make a reliable product (which I do recommend). I hope this was helpful, best wishes.

The LCD panel is bad. Too costly to replace, though.

Check out your local Kodak Repairer for new screen cost. LCD's are not repairable only replaceable.

The cost of a replacement screen will probably outweigh the cost of a replacement TV.

If you have household insurance, it should cover accidental damage.

LCD is one of the expensive part of a Monitor. maybe you can buy a new one because if you choose to repair it, it cost the same when you buy a new one.
