When powered up the display reads 4040 and will not display anything else. buttons don't seem to function

turn the oven off at mains for a few secs. When you turn it on the display should flash 0.00 or 12.00. Press the clock button once ( don't hold it in) use the + or - to set time. Once time selected don't press anything else after a few secs the oven will register and hold you selection.

Power off and unplug the printer for several minutes. On power on the printer had the same "ERROR E196-4040 Call For Service" after Initialization. Next start the printer in Service Mode, turn on the printer while holding down the [Paper Source/Feeder Selection] button and [Information] button until Initializing appeared in the display. An "S" will appear in the upper right of the version display. Power down and do a normal Power On and the printer should do a normal initialization and came On Line.

The problem that I am suddenly facing is that I can't change channels or volume or use any other function. I can't even turn it off with remote control.

Its stuck randomly on a particular channel that I was watching at that point of time.

Along with that channel it now shows a message in flashing red color that reads :-
AGING
O6895H

Now when I press ''Display'' button on remote control volume goes off and this code is shown :-
S123 K234 Y
000 001 1


The numbers in the second line can be navigated by ''CH+'' button and changed between 0 and 1 by ''Vol+'' button.

I really don't know anything about this. So, please help me out of this problem.

If the device is not functioning properly or to clear memory, reset it.
1. On the operator panel, press and hold the ON/OFF button for one second. (The display will go blank.)
Note: It may be necessary to unplug the power cord if pressing the ON/OFF button does not shut off the printer.
2. Wait approximately ten seconds and then press the ON/OFF button again.
3. Wait until the device has completed its cycling process before submitting another job request.

To clear error messages displayed on the LCD or if the printer is not functioning as expected, it may be necessary to simultaneously press Stop/Reset and ON/OFF buttons.
1. With the printer powered on, press and hold down the Stop/Reset button then press the ON/OFF button.
2. Once the printer is powered off, hold down Stop/Reset and then press ON/OFF.

Bad oven sensor or ecu"clock"

If it display error "... at the end of their service life" it seem that the ink absorber is full try to reset using reset utility for your appropriate printer here or here

this is a very common problem with these magellan 3140 and also the 3100,2000,2200t,2500,4000,4040 and the 4050 most likely the power port is damaged and needs replaced.i have these power ports but often they just need re soldered..i can repair these magellan gps if you need help. if i cant fix it there is no [email protected] ... to open the case on a 4040 you must start on the power button side, otherwise youll break the unit

You unit is stuck in the "Display Model Mode". Hold the stop/clear button for at lest five seconds in insure the interlock activates. If it does not activate then the electronic range control (erc) is not functioning. Replace the erc (Clock/Display.)
