Do i need to set my lap top to be able to watch tv.if so what ?

yes you need to f\press FUN key plus F4 or F5

you need to see if you have a pc in (vga )on your tv and then you need to see if your laptop has a VGA out then you need a VGA Video Monitor Cable HD 15 Male to Male cable bettween the lap top and the TV.
then you need to go to control settings on your laptop (depending on what operating system you are running) then display settings-settings and set it to go to your tv .

Check your ports on the lap top see if you have s video or hdmi or dvi or VGA the best is hdmi if you have that get a cable for either one of you connections also match connections from the lap top to what you have for your TV more than likely if they are both fairly new you should have hdmi connections for both get a cable that is long enough. I get my cables at amazon.com their prices are the bomb.
Connect them together both ends to lap top and to tv then make sure that you have a line in jack stereo jack with RCA ends hook that to the back of your tv and your lap top in stereo jack even better to your surround sound system. Set your TV to AVI 1 or 2 or DVI or whichever is your connection start a movie on the lap top and turn your sound on and see if you have a picture on your screen you should have the same thing as what is showing on your monitor on your lap top. Adjust settings and have fun!

Firstly to connect your laptop to your television, all you need is the cable that connects a CPU to the monitors.

connect it to the printing port on your laptop and connect the other end to the 21 pin connection at the back of your television.

Then you select the AV channel and you will be able to do anything on your laptop using the TV as your screen as well as watching a movie.

u need to get external video card (it cost's around 15$ or 20euros)
with this u can watch cable tv or satelite tv on ur lap top or pc
the next step is to plug projector to pc, lap top etc.

If u don't have cable or satelite, there are many sites on web where u can watch tv for free, if u perfer this way u don't need video card, but picture won't be so great also...

If your set up is: Top-Left=Indiglo Top-Right=St./Stop Bottom-Left=Mode Bottom-Right=Lap/Reset

Than follow these steps:
1. Press Lap/Reset and hold. You should see the time the alarm was set for.
2. While holding Lap/Reset, press Mode.
3. Let go of all buttons.
4. There you go!

While the time is displaying on watch press & hold the set/indiglo or top left button on watch. The seconds should start to flash.

Press the mode or bottom left button until the hour digits start to flash.

Press top right or start/stop button to advance the hour. Then press top left or set/indiglo button to exit set mode.

Set the chronograph. Push the bottom left button until you see the word "CHRONO" on your watch. Press the top right button to pick "Lap" or "Split." Press the top right button to start or stop the timer.

Press the bottom left button to see your lap or split time. Press the bottom left button to pause the timer. Press the top right button to start again. When you're finished, press the bottom left button to stop timing. Push it again to reset it your chronograph to zero.
