You will have to do that using a computer, to do that using a computer, you will have to connect the device to a computer using the usb. Then when the autoplay is on, select open file to view folder, then you go to the music on the device, then you highlight all and right click, then you select delete, it will delete all the songs off the mp3 player and from there it will be the way it was when you first bought it, empty and ready to receive new music on it.

Reformat the player - that will delete everything and allow you to start over from scratch

Hold the power button for 10sec then release it

You might be able to plug ur mp3 in ur computer with ur usb cord then go to a folder called 'my computer'on ur computer and then wear it shows an icon of an mp3 and says rca h100a or h100a right click on it then hit reformat and once its done it might work.good luck!

update the firmware

you need to hold the power button for 10 seconds should reset it

i was having the same prob and trying to find a solution is a pain in the behind..... i decided to look up the manual and guess what i found... the reasoning to this very frustrating question...

The contents transferred in MSC mode will not be seen in the PC with MTP mode selected on your device.

now the solution step-by-step

1. turn on your player when not connected to your pc
2. press 'm' til you get to the menu
3. go into settings
4. go into advanced
5. this shows the protocol the player is currently using... hit your play/pause button and change it to the other protocol
6. turn off your mp3 player
7. connect to pc

now you can see all those songs you couldn't find and delete before...

i used windows explorer and there were all those songs i supposedly deleted.... i deleted them and guess what? instead of over 200 songs i now only have 77.... works perfectly... give it a try... this should work for everyone with this player...
