I've just installed a XFX GeForce 6800 256MB graphics card to run the Farming Simulator programme, which works. But now World of Warcraft doesn't!! It blue screens every time you try to play WoW. I'm running it on Dell inspiron 530 on vista. Any ideas how I can get WoW to work with this card?
Not enough graphics card for WoW. Here are the System Requirements,
http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/faq/technology.html
I tell you what the problem is by showing you the System Requirements for WoW,
'Minimum: 3D graphics processor with Hardware Transform and Lighting with 32 MB VRAM
Such as an ATI Radeon 7200 or NVIDIA GeForce 2 class card or better
Recommended: 3D graphics processor with Vertex and Pixel Shader capability with 128 MB VRAM
Such as an ATI Radeon X1600 or NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT class card or better'
,and I get a Somewhat Helpful, for my trouble?
Sheesh.
Not enough graphics power with that Nividia XFX GeForce 6800GT
graphics card.
There isn't anything you're going to 'Tweak', that is going to make it any better.
