HP 2570 PHOTOSMART PRINTER

Have you tried going to hp.com, put in photosmart 2570, which comes up as 2575. Try that driver. Most of the time, there is not a great difference in the drivers. Use the basic driver. If your printer has a v or xi next to the 2570, the use that basic driver. Make sure you select the operating system on your computer. Go to "My computer, right click, select properties, the operating system will be there on the general tab.

Google, enter "HP Photosmart C5180 All-in-One" and you can reinstall the scanner into computer...free.  Under the black apple in the upper corner of screen find "recent Items" and you will find the Photosmart Studio where the scanner icon is used to scan and create a file in thecomputer.  

What is the cartridge number

You need to download the drivers for your printer in order to work with vista.

your hp photosmart 2570 printer driver is not compitable with vista drivers so its not getting loaded.as the printer is old and the vista is new.the printer will work properly with ---xp---98----and other windows operating systems.this is always a problem for the vista users as the printer does not get loaded.so you can call either hp to provide you a compitable driver cd of your printer to be loaded on vista.or you can call vista to upgrade your sytem by providing you a compitable driver cd.after that your printer will get installed and detected.

Go to HP.com and download a new set of drivers for your printer.

Look for an updated driver for the C4180 at the HP website.

Hi, I have a good news that this issue can be easily solved and HP has released a patch to fix the issue. Just download and install the patch below: =========== http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=oj-54112-1&cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&product=1153494&dlc=en&lang=en ============ IN the download page click on the download only button and save the patch to the computer and then install it to the computer in network that you are facing the issue with.. Once the patch is installed try to add the printer by searching it in network and then the issue will be resolved. Hope this will work for you. Regards Barret.
