This behavior occurs when an Xbox 360 Hard Drive hardware failure occurs.
1. Turn off the console.2.

Reattach the hard drive, and then turn on the console.4.
Obtain the latest automatic update for the Xbox 360. To do this, connect to Xbox Live.5.
If you continue to experience this behavior, contact Xbox Customer Service.
The best bet is to send it back to microsoft or conatct them to see if you are still covered by warranty. Unfortunately as far as i know microsoft are the only guys to fix the one red led section. Good Luck.
Halo 3 game wont play when hard drive is on but once i remove it , it works perfectly?!
The weird thing is my hard drive works with any other game except Halo 3!
Any idea why is doing that??
