Question about Nintendo Wii Console
My wireless linksys router connects to my Xbox 360, laptop and PS3 fine, but my Wii won't stay connected even long enough to do a system update. I'm using MAC filtering, which has my Wii MAC address, and i've tried messing with just about all the settings. I feel retarded, like I'm missing something. Please help.
One option is try choosing a different type for your password...i've had the problem before and what i did was to change the password type e.g. from wpa aes-tkip to wpa-aes passphrase (this option will appear during your wii internet connection set-up as you would probably know by now) and everything right after started to fall in place perfectly, just try what password type will work for you...my wii started connecting to my router and never had the same problem ever since.

I know for a fact, that the wii's wireless is a pain in the ass to get to work. Try switching the frequency of the router to a different channel such as 4, 5, or 7. but no others, or will be in big trouble.
